Last updated: 31 May 2026
NCSE Network ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data when you use the ncse.tw website. It is designed to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act.
1. Data We Collect
When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email, phone, and message you provide. When you browse the site, and only with your consent, we collect aggregated usage statistics via Google Analytics (such as pages viewed, time on site, device type, approximate location, and browser information) with IP anonymisation enabled. If you do not consent, no analytics tools are loaded.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data only to respond to enquiries, provide and improve services, maintain site security, and, after consent, analyse site traffic. Where required, we may also process necessary data to perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, or protect legitimate interests. We never sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
This site may use Google Analytics (traffic analytics after consent), EmailJS (contact form delivery), Google Fonts, Iconify, and certificate or trust-seal related static resources. These providers may act as processors or independent controllers under their own privacy policies, and data may be transferred to Taiwan, the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States, or other service locations.
4. Use of Cookies
We use analytics cookies only after you give consent. You can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings at the bottom of the page. We also honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal and will not load analytics by default when it is detected.
5. Data Retention
Contact form and support correspondence is kept for up to 24 months after your enquiry is resolved. If you become a customer, necessary billing, transaction, and service records are retained according to contract, accounting, and legal requirements. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months per Google Analytics settings.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, review, copy, correct, restrict processing of, port, withdraw consent for, or delete your personal data. Where GDPR applies, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, email privacy@ncse.tw.
7. Data Security
This site is served entirely over HTTPS/TLS and uses security measures including a Content Security Policy (CSP) and HSTS to protect your data.
